For our cafe, we plan to target a wide range of customers, ranging from young children to adults. Our restaurant will have something for everyone. We also plan to target many young adults due to the live band that will play every Wednesday and Thursday night.
- For our first type of marketing, we will create a commercial to be aired on local television to our cafe.
- We will also create a bill board to be placed in downtown New York.
The decoration for our restaurant will be minimal with special lighting for band nights.
Our menu will contain many different food types to target a wide range of customers. We plan to serve mostly coffee, and some meals. The coffee menu will include regular coffee and specialty coffees. We will also have green, black, sweet, and unsweetened tea. The lunch and dinner menu will include homemade soups, daily specials, and a wide variety of sandwiches. Our menu will also contain dessert foods such as carrot cake, cookies, tea cakes, etc.
Hours and Location
- We will be located in downtown new york, for many customers.
- Our hours will be 9:00 - 5:00 PM on the weekends, and 8:00 - 10:00 PM on weekdays.
Employees
We plan to have 12 total employees, 4 per each shift. There will be 2 cooks, 1 register, and 1 server on each of our 3 shifts.

Theme
The theme of our restaurant will be modern classic with a live band stage. When seated, customers will be handed tickets designed to look like concert tickets in order to pursue the idea.
The equipment we will need is as followed:
- Coffee Grinder
- Espresso Machine
- Griddle
- Refrigerator
- Common kitchen utensils
- Plates, forks, knives, and cups
- Oven
- Freezer
