On January 5, 1930 at Clarence Clay's (a friend of Clyde) house , Parker was out of work and was staying in West Dallas to assist a female friend who was injured. Clyde went to visit his friend and met Bonnie there. Both immediately fell in love which led to Bonnie joining the gang . She remained a loyal companion to him as they carried out their crime spree and on until their deadly end.
Ms. Bonnie Parker as born on October 1,1910 to Emma Parker and a father who was a bricklayer. At a young age, she lost her father and her family moved to a West Texas community of ‘Cement City”. She was an honor student and wanted to pursue to career in acting on Broadway. When she was sixteen, she married her high school sweetheart, Roy Thornton. Although he was sent to prison for five years, they never divorced and she wore his ring to her death bed.
Clyde Barrow was born on March 24, 1904 in Tellico, Texas to a poor family and became a farm boy. He attended schools on forest avenue even though he never fully finished due to his juvenile record. Although Clyde’s difficulties, he loved music and played the guitar and saxophone. He was so attached to his saxophone that while avoiding the law, he carried it everywhere. He even took his last breath with it at his side. Influenced by his older brother, Clyde turned to crime at a young age.
