Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The hardest challenge he had in his life was that he was born with a heart disease called coronary artery disease. He had a heart attack in 1991. When he was 82 and healthy he had to have quadruple heart bypass surgery. After that he was healthy for two weeks but in the end sadly died from it. So in the end he was sadly forced to die from his challenge.
A time in my life that helped mold my character to be better is when I got a shot in each arm because of allergies. It helped because I was always scared of shots but when the doctor put the needle into my arm it only hurt for a second then I only wanted to scratch it. It helped me to not hate shots as much and to know it doesn't hurt that bad. So it has made me more courageous to try a new thing next time something like that happens.
Karana's challenge was that of losing her brother, her dad, and everyone she grew up with. She overcame that challenge by surviving, building a house, making weapons, finding food, getting friends that were animals, and finally getting saved by a ship that was hunting sea otter.
