To test if a pill casing affects how fast
and how well garlic kills bacteria.
I thought that the garlic with-out the pill case would kill the bacteria faster.
1. Sterilize the jars.
2. Make home-made agar and leave to set in jars.
3. When the agar is set cough onto the agar then quickly close the jar wait approx 3-5 days for bacteria to grow.
4. Crush garlic and put in half a pill casing. Repeat the process so same amount of garlic is used.
5. Place the pilled garlic in the center of one jar and squeeze the other garlic into another jar.
6. take a photo everyday and wright in log-book
I boiled the jars and tools
Is gelatin, sugar and water.
Food for the bacteria
The pile of garlic went to work straight away and made more of a circular shape
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
The pilled garlic took at least double the time and the "circle" around the garlic was quite dodgy.
