Option 1

Give a presentation

describing the most popular

sports in your country, when they are practiced, how and where.

Sofia: Well, it's true, but who doesn't love the beach. Surfing is a sport of adrenaline and freedom. The feeling of riding the waves and being on top of the ocean is incredible. Peru has beautiful beaches everywhere, so you can practice it anytime you want. You just need to be impulsive and try it.

Paolo: Girls, I'm sorry, but you are wrong.

Kina: Oh Paolo, hi! You were listening to us.

Sofia: Do you have anything to say?

Paolo: Well, I think better than surfing and boxing is soccer. Come on, soccer is the most popular sport in Peru and the world.

Kina: Hey Sofia, how're you doing?

Sofia: Hey Kina, I'm fine. And you?

Kina: I'm good. I'm on my way to practice boxing. Do you want to come?

Sofia: Mmm... Nah, boxing is too violent and boring.

Kina: What???!!! You are crazy, boxing is awesome, better that surfing. It's a really competitive sport, people get excited when they watch us fighting in the ring. They are waiting for someone to be knocked out. You have to be careful not to be punched by the other fighter and be really organized with your movements. It is also a good way to exercise, you can even have a sandbag in your house, with surfing, you have to go to the beach.

Kina: Ok, Paolo, why do you say that?

Paolo: Soccer, you play it anywhere, even in your neighborhood's main street, you just need a ball and be creative to make the field and the goal posts. Children everywhere love to play and watch soccer, and you can play it with your friends.

Sofia: Ok, ok, why don't we go and practice each of them and decide which one is the best?

Paolo: Great, let's do that.

Kina: Good idea! Let's go.
