Transient idiopathic arrhythmia

A condition where the heart beats irregularly, spontaneously, and for only a short time.

While we don't cure a lot of things, some arrhythmias are actually able to be cured. When abnormal tissue is causing the arrhythmia, by distruction (ablation) of the abnormal tissue science may be able to cure that specific arrhythmia. This isn't all arrhythmias by any means, but at least its some.

The engineer from "The Big Bang Theory" has transient idiopathic arrythmia.

Risk factors

Arrhythmias are not more common in any race than another, but the elder suffer more from it than any other group

Anyone who has had a condition that weakens the heart such as a heart attack, heart failure or congenital heart defects are at the most risk.

Symptoms of Arrhythmias

Palpatation or "skipped heartat", rapid heartbeat, fainting, fluttering of the heart and slow heartbeat. These can all be symptoms of an arrhythmias.
