A friend centered paradigm is what a lot of students in there teen years do. It's where all you care about is your friends and that is what you think the world revolves around, you and your friends.

Cons: If you hang out with your friends to much for a long amount of time you will get tired of them. They might also talk bad about you behind your back.
Most people think that the people who have "nicer" things are better than them just cause of that one thing.
Ex. iPhone's v.s flip phones, people with iPhones may feel better about them selves just cause they have an iPhone.
Pros: You have nice things.
Cons: if you brag about your nice things you may lose a friend just cause of that simple action.
Being boyfriend or girlfriend centered is a main paradigm most teens go through or do. If your around you boyfriend or girlfriend for to long that's all you want to be around, you just ignore whats around you and pay attention to whats going on with your loved one.
Pros: You have someone always there with you.
Cons: You may not have someone to go to once you and your partnet seperate.
Being school centered doesn't always have to be bad it sometimes can be good. It's where all you care about is school.
Pros: You will always have good grades.
Cons: You may not have a life outside of school.
Being parent centered is where your parents opinion matters the most in 99% of your decisions.
Pros: You can trust your parents and you can tell them anything and everything.
Cons: You wont always have your parents opinions and decisions to rely on.
Self Centered
Self Centered is being conceited about your self and thinking the world only revolves around you.
Pros: Your positive about yourself, you don't think bad about yourself.
Cons: If people say different about you and you listen it could cause depression.
