Martin Seligman (2000) had a humanistic approach (called positive psychology). He focused on learned helplessness.

Abraham Maslow (1955) is humanistic. He's know for his Hierarchy of Human Needs.

B.F. Skinner (1948) was a "radical" behaviorist. He used operant conditioning and negative behavior

Carl Rogers (1951) studied humanistic phenomenological. His approuch was nondirective and client-centered.

John B. Watson (1920) founded behviorism. He conducted the Little Albert Experiment

He was a Austrian Physician and psychoanalysis. He founded the first psychotherapy.

Edward Titchner (1842-1910) studied and introduced the structuralism field. He is known for his introspection experiments in which he had subject look inward and trained them to report elements of their experience as they looked, heard, smelt or tasted. He also coined the word empathy.

Stanley G. Hall (1844-1924) studied the anomalistic branch of Psychology. He is known for opening the first laboratory in the United States, being the first American to earn a Ph.D. in Psychology, and founding the APA and being its first president.

Wilhelm Wundt (1832-1920) was a structuralist. He established the first psychology laboratory at the University of Leipzig, Germany in December, 1879.
