One place to see in the southeast region is Sea World. Sea World is a place you can go and see animals that live in the sea. Another place to see is the smokey mountain. The smokey mountain is a mountain that you can hike, bike, run, and camp on. They also have dolphin shows, beaches and the grand old Opry.

Some physical features of the south include Swamps, the Ocean, and Plateaus. Plateaus are hills with a flat surface on top. There are also coast lines.Coast lines are where the ocean and land meet. The Mississippi river runs through the area. It is the longest river in the southeast
region.
Some interesting fact about the area are that Eli Whitney Invented the cotton gin in Georgia in 1793. Did you know that Thomas Jefferson and Jimmy Carter were both farmers from the southeast? Virginia's nickname is the mother of presidents because eight presidents were born there.
The southeast region has lots of
natural resources like cotton, used to make jeans. Also they grow fruit like peaches, pistachios and peanuts at all of their farms. In addition to growing fruit they also have rice and pig farms.
