The black Rhino is the biggest land mammal in the world. Unlike the usual regular Rhino the black Rhino has 2 horns not 1. The white rhino is not endangered becuase they only have 1 horn. Considering their size they can run up to 32 miles per hour. Black Rhinos are very territorial they will not give up there home without a fight. The leader of the herd will protect all the others and will fight any intruder that passes
A Black Rhino female has to find a bull or a male that they can maye with after they find the bull they get used to each other and see if they get along well together. If they dont the female will scare the bull of by charging at it. If they do like each other they will have a baby.
Black Rhino baby are very intellegent because they can start walking 10 minutes after they are born. The female black Rhino is pregnant for about 9-11 months. When they have the baby they dont let the bull take care of it. The baby black Rhino is left alone to survive at 6 months.
Poachers are the people that hunt the balck Rhinos and they bring back what they get. Poaching is illegal in Africa and if you kill a black Rhino you get a fee and you go to jail. Black Rhinos are so endangered they have gaurds that will protect the black Rhinos.i
Black rhinos eat leaves that is why they are so slow. The reason they are slow is because the leaves dont give them the nutriants they need to go fast. They also eat dung and I know everybody will think that is gross but they need it for bacteria. They need the bacteria so they digest the leaves because they dont have teeth
Black Rhinos dont have that much preys the biggest threat to them are humans becuase they want the black Rhino horns for medicines and for dagger handles. The other prey of theirs is the big wild cats but they mainly only go for the baby Rhinos not the adults.
