Plot

Five high school students with nothing in common share a detention on a Saturday at 7am. The jock, the brain, the athlete, the princess and the basket case all couldnt stand eachother and into a little fight. But after smoking marijuana they open up to eachother and realize they arent much different than eachother and share alot of common interests.

This film shows the stereotypical jock, brain, criminal, basket case and princess.

The jock is shown to be masculine, rude and wears a varsity coat.

The brain is shown to be scrawny, too nice and well dressed.

The criminal is shown to be masculine, reckless and dressed bummy.

The basket case is shown to be shy, creepy and dressed very gothic.

The princess is shown to be very feminin, stuck up and well dressed.

Themes

The Three main themes are family problems, stereotypes and peer pressure. The family problem theme is shown when Bender tells everyone how he fights with his dad. The theme stereotypes is shown by each character with the way they are dressed and the way they act. Peer pressure is shown when every partakes in smoking marijuana.
