When they open the box, Hope spread its wings and flew from the box into the world.

To punish Prometheus, Zues creates and sends Pandora to fall in love with Epimetheus, Prometheus's brother.

He sends her with box but instructs her that she must never open it.

Epimetheus and Pandora fall in love.

Climax

Although she is entirely happy, Pandora's curiosity gets the best of her and she can longer resist the temptation to open the box.

Hate, famine, crime, cruelty, sickness, envy, war, etc. come rushing out into the world
