Mesopotamia Timeline

Where Mesopotamia Started

How they built

How they governed themselves

Final Thoughts

Mesopotamia started in the fertile crescent

The Fertile Crescent is located in the Middle East.

The Sumerians built by using mud blocks also known as Adobe. They would make the mud blocks then put them in the sun to dry. After the mud blocks dried they started building.

Each city-state had complicated irrigation systems, whose management the ruler oversaw. And the ruler also took on the role of chief priest, leading rites and procession in order to honor the gods.

We should remember good things about the mesopotamians. They invented a lot of good things in the world. If the mesopotamians didn't live before us we probally wouldnt have some of the useful things we have today. They invented items that we really can use. Thanks Mesopotamians for your hardwork on your inventions!
