Welcome!

Programs

We offer a variety of programs that are aimed at helping international students plan and meet their English language goals.

This is a free program for incoming international students introduces them to the academic language of American university life.

This two-week course is designed to give international students a chance to interact in English with their Tulane peers so that they have the confidence and preparation to perform at their best. It can be completed online at their residence by setting aside an hour each day during the two-week sessions.

English Language Passport (ELP)

The English Language Passport (ELP) is a unifying system that guides the students’ learning by setting language targets and documenting their progress. Based on the Council of Europe’s European Language Portfolio, the ELP is an online portfolio of files that displays the English proficiency of the learner by linking documents that meet the language targets.
