Reason #2
There have been many sightings of Bigfoot.
- There has been over 37,000 sightings. One of those sightings was made by Theodore Roosevelt.
- Roosevelt brought a brand new energy to the White House, and won a second term on his merits in 1904. Not only that, but most importantly he has made 200 million acres of forests national forests.
- This is important because there more national parks because of this act. Theodore Roosevelt made our country’s navy one of the strongest, and upgraded the U.S.’s defences. This proves that Theodore would have no reason to lie about Bigfoot.
Reason #3
Bigfoot is the descendant of the Gigantopithecus
- The total amount of time it took us to fully evolve took 5 to 8 million years. So that means for a bigger ape it would take longer for Bigfoot to evolve. That would make him 2 million years behind are state in evolution.
- According to the text, Looking for Bigfoot by Aaron Anderson, it states that, “Gigantopithecus [is] a twelve-foot-tall ape that lived 300,000 years ago.” It also stood on two legs.
- This proves that there can be some type of animal that looks like the ones in the sightings.

Footprints of Bigfoot have been found.
* In 1951 a exploration team was sent to make one of the first ever climbs of Mt. Everest. They found many footprints of a large bipedal animal (Bigfoot).
- In 1958, Jerald Crew in Rural California found footprints of Bigfoot. He poured concrete into them making a solid replica.
- According to the text Bigfoot Caught on Film and Other Monster Sightings, it states “The footprint were 16 inches long and seven inches wide!” This proves that footprints of a large bipedal primate have been found that are bigger than the largest feet a human has.
Claim and Theory
Bigfoot is real because footprints have been found, there have been many sightings, and he is descendant of the Gigantopithecus blacki, which is a very real animal.
