After three consecutive SOLD OUT shows Icelantic and AEG are teaming up again to create the most unique, innovative, exciting and engaging event of the Winter in Colorado.

Winter on the Rocks, held in conjunction with SIA's Snowshow (Snowsport's Industry of America) will feature National Headlining Musicians, 10K targeted and passionate SnowSports and music enthusiast's, and like-minded and driven companies collectively creating a unforgettable experience.

We invite you to join us on January 30th, 2015 in helping us create, activate, and deliver an amazing outdoor winter experience at one of the most iconic venues in the world.

Red Rocks is a geologically formed, open-air Amphitheater that is not duplicated anywhere in the world. With mother nature as the architect, the design of the Amphitheater consists of two, three hundred-foot monoliths (Ship Rock and Creation Rock) that provide acoustic perfection for any performance.

From The Beatles to U2, The Grateful Dead to Jimi Hendrix Red Rocks Amphitheater has been the site of some of the most memorable and iconic musical performances to date. 2012 marked the Inaugural year of Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks. This was the first time the venue was opened in the Winter for a Concert. The Concert SOLD OUT in 4 weeks and generated a large buzz in National, Local, and Snow Sports Media. in 2013, iWOTR SOLD OUT in 3 weeks and featured the Largest and most decorated artist of the year, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Year 3 welcomed the reunion of Hip Hop Legends Jurassic 5's first performance in over 8 years, and the reunion of Ghostland Observatory.

Taking place on the Friday night of SIA's SnowShow, Winter on the Rocks is made up a collection of individuals affiliated with the Snow Sports Industry mixed with locals from the Denver Metro area.

For more than 50 years, the SIA Snow Show has been bringing the entire snow sports market together in one place, making it the most important trade event for the entire industry. Showcasing the latest trends, innovations, product lines and styles, the SIA Snow Show represents the only global event where 800+ brands are presented in an authentic environment both on and off the snow; all powered by the passion and culture of snow sports. Of these 30,000 visitors, all of these individuals are associated with the Snow Sports industry in one way or another.

In it's first year, Icelantic's Winter on the Rocks featured performances from Grieves and Budo, Common, and was headlined by Atmosphere. These artist reflect the positive energy associated with Winter in Colorado and the SnowSports industry.

Year 2 welcomed performances from Neelais, The Grouch and Eligh, Major Lazer, and was headlined by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. At the time Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were chosen as headliners for iWOTR 2013 they were still an emerging act in the music industry. Within 3 weeks of the shows announcement, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis began a climb to the top of the charts unlike anything seen in the music industry to date. This independent, self marketed, and trend setting act were the first independent artists to have gone platinum twice, have the #1 record in the world, and be recognized as the Breakout Artist of the year on their debut Album release. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis exploded into the main stream music scene in December of 2012, one month before Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks.

Last Year, Winter on the Rocks became a FULL reunion show featuring performances by Ghostland Observatory and hip hop legends Jurassic 5. Both groups were coming off of lengthy hiatus, and we were honored and excited to host both groups in celebrating their reunion's. Jurassic 5 took the experience one step further when they decided to record their new music video in it's entirety from Winter on the Rocks. For our partners who

This year's artist selection will include three National headlining acts reflecting the like-minded spirit of the partners involved in iWOTR and the energy captured by the 10,000 passionate individuals attending the show.

The Marketing plan for Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks will be a collection of traditional communication channels, (ie. Radio, Print, Billboards, etc) grassroot promotions (word of mouth here in Denver and throughout the SIA Snow Sports Community) and a strong Social Media presence (with support from all of our Event Partners, Performing Artist, and collective online communities). Through this three pronged approach, the message of iWOTR-2014 and the brands behind the event will be effectively communicated to over a Million potential consumers.
