- One of Google's most prominent ways of segmenting the market is by what users search. Similar searches are grouped into different genres, so a search about Assassins Creed will result in Adventure, Action and Games.

- Google is a very large business.
- Statistics: , 1 billion search results returned every day, and in 2014 had 131 billion dollars’ worth of total assets.
- Google is a public limited company, this is good as it operates on a massive scale.
- The CEO, Larry Page, has some ambitous goals. He wants the entire world to have internet. He wants to improve security and privacy.
- Google is well known for motivating their employees exceptionally well. Here is how Google motivates its employees:
- Over the top fringe benefits.
- Providing amazing facilities at the workplace.
- Google could also start providing housing benefits.
- Google uses the laissez-faire leadership style.
- I think this is smart as the company relies on new ideas.

- Google's training is split in 2 types:
- On-The-Job
- Off-The-Job
- Internally, Google holds forums every week with its employees where the managers answer questions and discussions are held. Surveys are also held. Externally Google takes calls and emails from other large corporations and has online surveys for users.

- My company specializes in internet-related services and products to all online users.
- Google makes money from advertisements.
- It can sell these in bundles or across different platforms for a higher price, this is one way as to how it adds value.
