Do something that connects you to a bigger, more satisfying God
Do something that benefits others more than yourself - give yourself a chance to give freely
Plan in that problems will arise
Use the problems that arise to connect you to others
Excluding God is the ultimate in unproductivity.
God will judge what we do.
God ultimately defines what the right things to get done are.
God moves from fear of the law to power of Life in the Holy Spirit.
God uses the same of power of resurrection to take the events of our lives and turn them to good so nothing is wasted/futile.
Measuring productivity mainly in terms of immediately measurable results undermines the measurable results in the long run.
The far greater priority than being more efficient is learning to do identify what's important (what's best) and translating that into action.
One of the best places for efficiency is with things so you can be effective with people.
“Nothing is less productive than to make more efficient what should not be done at all.” - Peter Drucker
Productivity is futile because of the lack of reward because of monotonous exhausting repitition
The more you focus on efficiency (beyond a certain point), the less innovative you will be.
Productivity is futile because of the lack of satisfaction and purpose
Productivity is futile because of the lack of perspective and meaning
Being productive must acknowledge living in a fallen world where things don't work and break down. If you live for growing control through efficiency, you won't be effective.

All of the above
Haphazardness and confusion - "Does it matter?"
Escapism - "It's wrong."
Workaholic - "My identity comes from being productive."
Necessary Evil - "You can't have everything else you want with out it."
The biggest enemy you may have is the lack of knowledge that the Bible addresses through the Gospel and wisdom how we should live happy, fulfilled productive lives.
Procrastination - "There's got to be something else better to do right now."
