Waste

Transportation

How we use it

Recomindation

Rail cars transport natural and

synthetic oils. So much carbon black is required for manufacturing tires that rail cars transport it and huge silos store the carbon black at the tire factory until it is needed.

Railcars deliver large quantities of natural and synthetic rubber, carbon black, sulfur, and other chemicals and oils, all of which are stored until needed.

Life Cycle of Tires

Recycle:

Tires are not bio degradable. Tires are left at landfills for a while and often take up space. However, tires are recyclable as they can be used to make new tires and rubber. Recycled tires are used in play grounds and synthetic turf fields. Recycled tires can also be found in roads as it is in asphalt and concrete.

Hazardous Waste:

Incinerating tires create toxic fumes and release harmful chemicals.

Tires are used in bikes, cars, buses, and other modes like planes. We use rubber in rubber bands and recycle it in playgrounds and turf fields.

When the chemicals and rubber is burned, it creates gas which is toxic. It is emitted into the air as factories continue the creating process. The gas should be contained and then it goes through scrubs which filters the chemicals. We would suggest the factories to supervise how much is being filtered.

To reduce the amount of waste we should recycle as much tires as we can. We also recommend sending the used tires to tire recycling programs that dispose of the tires properly.
