We may interpret the behavior of a person in terms of the attitude beliefs his action implies. Children are quite vigilant in noting how their parents react to different people.

Our economic and occupational positions also contribute to attitude formation. They determine , in part,our attitude towards unions and managments and our belief that certain laws are good or bad. Socio economic background influences both present and future attitudes of people.

MASS MEDIA

advertising messge, for example, attempts to alter the attitude for the people toward a certain product or service. similarly social message on TV and in newspaper can habe mass appeal among the people.

ASSOCIATION

Attitudes towards one object may develop for association that object with another object about which attitude have been previously formed.

INSTITUTIONAL FACTORS

Religious Institutions, social organisations educational institutions, etc. also help is shaping in attitude of peoples. i
