THE PEOPLE OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST HAD TO EAT THE FOLLOWING:FISH, SALMON, SHELLFISH,WHALE, OYSTERS, SEAL, AND BERRIES FOR FOOD. THEY HAVE A TRIBE CALLED THE TLIGIT TOO!!

eastern woodland indians lived by farming,hunting,and gathering. the eastern third of the united states is a large varied region.

THEY ALSO MADE SOME ART THEY MADE TOTEM POLES BY THEIR OWN HOUSES TO TELL who THEY WERE.

the natural resourses of the eastern woodlands shaped the lives of the american indians who lived there. the woodland peoples hunted deer, bears, and rabbits for food. they also got food from regions plants.

THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ALSO HAD MANY TRADITIONS TO JUST LIKE REGULAR PEOPLE LIKE US. LIKE SOME KIND OF DANCES AND SONGS THEY SANG AT POTLATCH A POTLATCH IS BIG FEAST OF FOOD FOR THE INDIANS.

the Hopi

most woodland indians were farmers. they cleared fields in the forests by cutting down the larger trees and then burning the area.

the Hopi were were different from all the other tribes because they had to rely on the the weather and crops to make them survive.

the Hopi are people how rely on crops of beans, corn, and squash and other crops for food. There water there is very scarce.( very little).

the Hopi live in the southwest where it is very dry,hot, only a little rain,cold nights. And they had to rely on irragation to grow their crops of food.

THE NORTHWEST INDIANS ALSO MADE HOUSES OUT OF SEATER AND SPRUCE TREES BARK. AND ALSO MADE CLOTHING OUT OF BARK FROM TREES TOO THE SAME KIND ALSO.THEY MADE BLANKETS,SKIRTS, RAIN COATS, AND CAPES.

the woodlands are made up different kinds of trees, such as cedar, oak, maple, pine, and birch bark.

the Hopi also have many traditions like.... dancing and celebrating with cerimonies. They even had a special dance called the bean dance.

THE TLIGIT NOW LIVE IN ALASKA MADE DUGOUT CANOES TO GO ON THE RIVER FOR FOOD. AND THE CLIMATE FOR THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST IS RAINY, MILD, WET

the southwest landforms are plateaus, flatlands, canyons, dessert. catctus very few trees.

the climate in the eastern part of the hemisphere is lots of trees, rainy, and dry, sunny. normal weather that we have in the summer, or fall , or spring even.
