Only in some zoos the arguement of animal cruelty applies because in other zoos they care for the animals well and prevents extinction
A lot of animals in zoos are happy and treated well
But unfortunatly some are not.
Not all zoos treat animals with the respect they deserve, many zoos around the world abuse animals unnecessarily.
Zoos help preserve animals for young children to see which may be extinct in the future.
Therefore it is a balanced argument on animal wellfare.
