The frist prop that came tomind when thinking of a teen drama was a pink notebook. The colour pink is commonly used in teen dramas to stereotype girls. The fact that its a notebook portrays that the character is in school therefore of teenage years.
Prop 4
Another prop which could indicate to the audience that its a teen movie could be a laptop as they are widely used amongst teenagers.
The final prop I decided would determine the genre is a smartphone because almost every teenager uses a smartphone and they are typically associated with teenagers.

The third prop is initially thought of were a pack of cigrettes as many teenagers smoke cigarettes, this could help the audience identify which genre the movie will be.
Props can be crutial to a film as they indirectly hint about the genre, plot, characters or plot-twists without revealing too much information about the film. I chose these 4 props because i think they will subtly indicate that it's a teen movie without it being too obvious.
