oIt was used as a means to tell a story but it has a useful viable means in our world.
o we should want to discover the wonders of technology and what it can do for our society.

o Therefore, we need to make technology more efficient to help our wants and needs.
o It’s a concept that was someone one’s creative idea and made real; showing that anything is possible.
o Dr. Curtis Connors, who was introduced in 1963, lost his arm in a blast, it was fully regrown based on his research. This is a past idea that was used to demonstrate the use of technology to reproduce what happens in nature.
o In 2006, medical researchers announced that they had largely regrown bladders in biodegradable scaffolds using their patients' own cells. All of the patients’ lives were saved from this.
o In comics and in science fiction, the creators, writers and story designers will explain what the technology will do or what it can do.

In comics it can happen and it doesn’t have to take years.
o Regardless of how long it takes for the idea to become a reality, whether real world or in comics, it all comes from a thought or an idea that someone has.
Prosthetic Limbs
o Doctor Octopus who was introduced in 1963 in the Marvel Universe. He had had a set of “highly advanced mechanical arms” melded to his body. They were controlled by his brain.
o At Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in 2012 they made a new brain-controlled prosthetic arm more advanced than other before it.
o I enjoyed learning that a lot of these technologies that they had in the comic books and science fiction are in the real world.
Like in Marvel, the marvel universe is just like ours, but it has more advanced technology than we do.
Gives me an open mind on wow, imagining what if we could do with that technology in the real world, that we could actually have “super heroes” out here.
If not super heroes, other ways we can improve our world with the developments we see in these stories.
o There has already been evidence of what we’ve seen with technology.
o We can do better with it
