Yet the first modern growth of soccer began in the UK in the 1360's.

Despite being banned by King Edward III in 1365 soccer due to violent play. Soccer was born again in 1856 with new rules enforcing safety.

Great Britain took these new rules and spread the idea to many countries teaching the new sport.

Countries in Europe decided to also spread the love for the game to Asia, Africa, North America, and South America making soccer a world wide sport.

Later in 1904 teams all around the world were divided into separate leagues creating the FIFA organization.

Present soccer is still identical to soccer 100 years ago, but for most players today soccer is not just a sport or hobby but a lifestyle.

China has the first evidence dating back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries B.C of kicking a leather ball into small goals sparking the first development of modern day soccer.

Not only did the world cup bring competition to the plate but a way to bring the world all to together to share a common love, soccer.

Uruguay hosted and won the very first world cup in 1930 which put the best players of each nation on 1 team to compete for the cup proving who's the best soccer nation in the world.
