Early Estonian language immersion of children started in some special kindergartens or at special classes in several schools from year 2000.

The influence of Baltic Germans has been very big through the history on Estonians` own culture, traditions, food, and spirit.
One of the biggest achievements is the translation of the Bible into the Estonian language by Anton Thor Helle in 1739.
