IS ACTIVATED CHARCOAL SAFE?

• Introduce a water bottle that contain AC filtered on the cover
• AC adsorbs organic material
• AC can remove and destroy residual disinfectants
• Can be used separately (water bottle & AC filtered)

As a conclusion, application of activated charcoal as a filter is a must in human living. Its huge benefits among health, deodorization, deodorization and purification of solutions simply astonishing.

In fact, it make our daily life more easier to not buy bottled water and pollute more the planet.

By just replacing our normal habits with a simple filter a huge difference can be made.

• Activated charcoal is a charcoal produced from carbonaceous source such as bamboo, coconut husk and coal.

1. Physical Activation: The source material is developed into activated charcoal using hot gases.

• Carbonization: Materials with carbon content is pyrolyzed at temperatures in the range 600-900 degree celcius.
• Activation/Oxidation: Raw materials or carbonized material is exposed to oxidising material at temperature range of 600-1200 degree celcius.

2. Chemical Activation: The raw material is impregnated with certain chemicals typically an acid, strong base or salt. The raw material is carbonized at lower temperature at range of 450-900 degree celcius.
