Hamlet

Character:

Polonius about Hamlet

Hamlet shows sanity by expressing true

emotions about an old friend. It would be incorrect for one to think that an insane person would share and have emotions pertaining to the death of a friend. Then, Hamlet speaks about the death of Alexander the great. He explains that once one is dead they are nothing. They turn into dust, dust is part of the earth, and out of earth we make anything. Hamlet has to be sane in order to explain history and explain how one of the most important people in history is nothing.

Sanity

Insanity

Hamlet was sane because he was brilliant with his ability to use his interpersonal and interpersonal intelligences. He was extremely aware of himself and everyone around him (online).

Hamlet insanity was latent, but was only fully developed after the court-play. He was neither insane, nor feigned to be so(online).
