Sun followed the teachings of Kuomintang that was his Idol. He followed the principles of Nationalism, Democracy, and Socialism. When sun was in power he let the people have their own government and they used the three principles to learn from his teachings.
He became the first president of the Republic of China in 1912. He left behind strong philosophical thoughts and ideas not only used in the Chinese governments but adapted from the teachings of the other countries he was in charge of. He was known as the father of the revolution because of his proud leadership and nationalism towards his people and country.
He was born to a family of poor farmers in xiangshan, in the south china province of Guangdong. In 1884 he transferred to the government central school and married Lu Muzhen who was chosen by his parents. He transferred later to the college of medicine for Chinese in Hong Kong and graduated in 1892. He went Hawaii in October of 1894 and founded an organization called the revive china society.
Sun remained unique after the twenthieth century for having a high reputation in China and in Taiwan. In Taiwan he was known as the Republican Leader for multiple reasons such as his use of the principles he used them like no one else. He was named father of the nation, his widow was the vice chairwoman of the republic of China. On the mainland, Sun is also seen as a Chinese nationalist and is regarded as the Forerunner of the Revolution.
