One of my first friends was

Elijah. We go to church together

and a few years ago we found

out we are long lost cousins.

We are still good friends today.

Another friend of mine when I

was young was Aiden. He was

also a friend from church but

he moved away a few years ago.

I went to Surrey Christian

School in Kindergarten and I

have gone there ever since.

In Kindergarten I always played

cops and Robbers with my friends.

In school I met Tim, Trenton,

Trina, Taylor, Hannah, Ryan,

Michael, Liam and others.

Now I'm friends with way more

people in the Middle School

because we're the top grade.

My sister and I have parents named

Rod and Angela. They've been married

for 17 years and they both work at

our church.

My Dad's mom is Marilyn (Barker)

Doell. She married my grandpa who

is named Gerald Doell. They live in

Langley and they love spending time

with us.

On the Doell side of my family we have

five cousins: Melissa, Michael, Tylor,

Ashley and Kristen. They're all older

than me. I see them at Christmas and

usually a couple of other times during

the year.

My Dad has two brothers. One is named

Darryl and he's older than Dad. The other

one is named Barry and he is younger.

My Mom's mom is named Helen (Balzer)

Burns. She married my papa who is

named John Burns. They live in White

Rock. They love having family nights.

On the Burns side of my family we have

four cousins: Medo, Shalom, Grace and

Jack. I see them at church and we do

lots of stuff together. They're all

younger than me.

I still have a great-grandad Burns and a great-Oma Balzer who are alive. Two years ago my Opa and my Granny died and I miss them so much.

My story starts at Peace Arch Hospital, I was born on May 13, 1999. I weighed 8 pounds and 13 ounces and I

had just a little hair. My due

date was May 8th, but God decided to hold out for the 13th.

I was the second child in my family. I had an older sister that was 3 when I was born, Madison.

When I was little we lived in a really big house and Madi and I would always bring stuffies out into the family room and play in the pile for hours.

I remember playing on the willow trees in our backyard and pretending I was Tarzan.

When I was just turning four my family moved to a new house in Cloverdale. That's where I live now.

One of my favourite memories is getting my dog Finlay. I remember her waking me up in the morning by licking my face. Now she's way too big to do that.

When I was little I had a collection of hot wheels. There were over 100 and I thought it was a world record. I liked playing with cars, and monster trucks, I would pretend to crush the cars with my monster trucks.

I played baseball when I was younger. I played in the Cloverdale league and I remember being on the same team as Adam.

I've always loved travelling around the world. I have been to Australia two times, Disneyland many times, Disneyworld, Palm Desert, Hawaii, and as far as Alberta twice.

I love music. I first played drums at home and at my church. I got my first guitar when I was nine and when I was about 11 I started really get into guitar. I bought an electric guitar last year. I hope that when I grow up I can be the music director at my church.
