RECORDING DRUM
- Recording drum is useful in recording the graph. The graph paper is placed on
the circumference of the drum during experiment for recording purpose.
- The Recording drum rotates at the speed which is selected using the keypads.
Hence the recording drum rotates at the speed of 0.12, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.25,
2.5,12.5, 25.0 mm/sec.
Its main purpose is to write a magnified record of the movement of the structure to which it is attached

Steps on applying the paper
- Lay paper on table, glazed surface down
- Apply mucilage to ends of gummed area with ends extended beyond the paper (to easily remove it)
- Place drum across middle of paper, fit it snugly and press the gummed edge in place
- Roll drum forward and raise the thread with gummed edge of paper
