The Battle of York- April 27 1813
The Cholera Epidemic which is some sort of disease was brought to North America by the immigrants arriving at the time and this disease had caused deaths to over 7500 people. This disease had created tention in the 1830's and caused people to panic throughout upper and lower Canada.
In this Battle, it's the British against the Americans in york (present day Toronto). The Battle took place because the location was strategic since it was a site where weapons and gunpowder was stored. A fleet of ships attacked york and the Americans beat the british and the group of Objibwe and Mississauga warriors. Sadly the British loss and Americans won and took the location.
The Treaty of Ghent ended the War of 1812 it was like a contract. Peace negotiations began in Ghent, Belgium, starting in August of 1814. After four months of talks, the treaty was signed on December 24, 1814.

The War of 1812
The United states declared war on Britain which begins the War of 1812. After all these battles the War of 1812 the treaty of Ghent ended the War of 1812
The Rideau Canal aka the Rideau waterway connects to the city of Ottawa Ontario, Canada. From the Ottawa river to city of Kingston Ontario
The Battle of Lundy's Lane is also known as The Battle of Niagara falls. Its also the Anglo-American war of 1812. A light led too much confusion to the sides on the battlefield, Both accidently killed their own allies. Soon the British retreated with their allies because they were unable to defeat the Americans on September 21. The Americans also retreated and went across the Niagara river to American territory in Buffalo. Both sides retreated which means there was no clear winner of the Battle. But they both claimed a victory British- Lundy's lane and Americans- Fort Erie.
The Rebellions was starting riots in montreal and tried to get supporters but was unable to get enough supporters then gave up. In the end 1000 people were jailed, 100 were exiled and 15 was hanged to death.
