Long Term Effects

Long term Hepatitis is called chronic hepatitis. With chronic hepatitis you wont fully recover from acute hepatitis, which leads to continued cell damage and inflammation. Chronic hepatitis may develop greatly without any acute episodes. You can get rid of chronic hepatitis by taking a liver biopsy (tissue sample).

Short Term Effects

Hepatitis B

Is a form of serious liver inflammation. It occurs in both rapidly developing and long-lasting forms. It is one of the most chronic infectious diseases worldwide. An effective vaccine is available that will prevent it with those who have been later exposed.

How to Prevent

Acute hepatitis B only last a couple of days to a few weeks. During this period your skin may yellow, which last one to three weeks. The convalescence period only last a few months. The attack will usually make you tired, give you mild chills, headache, muscle and joint pain.

  • If you inject drugs, don't share the equipment.
  • Don't share anything, Grooming products, razors, toothbrush, Fingernail clippings, ect.
  • Think about your health risks if you are planning on getting a tattoo or body piercing.

What is a STI?

An STI is a sexually transmitted infection. Some infect your reproductive organs. Others cause

general body infections.

Symptoms

  • Abdominal Pain.
  • Dark Urine.
  • Fever.
  • Joint Pain.
  • Loss of Appetite.
  • Nausea and vomiting.
  • Weakness.
  • Yellowing of Skin.
