Parts of the right triangle

Theta:The theta is the unknown number of an angle like how x is an unknown number for a side.

Pythagorean theorem

Hypotenuse:The longest side of the triangle and across from the 90 degree angle.

Adjacent:The closet side from the given angle.

Opposite:The side opposite from the given angle.

Legs:The legs are the two shorter sides of the triangle.

Pythagorean Theorem:The Pythagorean theorem is an equation to find one missing side. The equation is 2 2 2

Sine:Sine is opposite over hypotenuse. An easy way to remember this is Soh
