Ruby Bridges was born in 1968. She was born during a time when blacks and whites could not be together in schools and restaurants.

When Ruby was in 2nd grade she began to attend William France school. An all white school.
All the white students left when Ruby started. She was upset because it was only her and her teacher.
When Ruby began all the parents of white students took their children out of William France School.
I think Ruby was very brave because she wasn't afraid to go to an all white school.
