Thanks for taking the time to learn more about the Annex Teen Clinic’s services, outcomes and financial health. I think you will agree that 2014 was another very good year for the Annex and the young people we serve.

While it is always important to look back and review past accomplishments I would like to highlight our plans for the next five years. In 2014 the board and staff of the Annex spent considerable time and energy thinking about our strategic direction. The past five years have been marked by considerable growth, change and success. The field of adolescent health is by its very nature broad and multifaceted. There are numerous pressures to initiate new services to accommodate all of the challenges young people encounter.

As we reflected on the Annex’ rich history and strong partnerships in the community it became clear that what young people and our partners expect from us is expertise in adolescent sexual health. That is why the Annex was created 44 years ago and that will continue to be our focus for the next five years.

Our new strategic plan provides a guide for strengthening the quality of our work and our ability to help young people take charge of their sexual health. I hope you will partner with us to advance that mission.

With Gratitude,

Brian Russ
