Career

After high school he studied natural sciences. His career started his 60 books and over 100 articles. His career was his interest for the rest of his life. During the time of the start of his career he published two philosophical essays.

University

He studied at the university of Zürich, which was in Switzerland. When he was in university he developed the interest for psychoanalysis.

He left Switzerland for France, then he started working at Ecole de la rue de la Grange-aux-Belles a boys' institution created by Alfred Binet.

Jean Piaget

Jean was born August 9, 1896, andJean died on September 16, 1980. He was the youngest child in his family. Jean went to the school called Neuchâtel Latin high school, at the age 11 he wrote a paper about albino sparrow and that is what started his career.

Studies

In 1920, Simon and Piaget cooperated results of a standardized reasoning test . The test consisted of studying the measurements of children's intelligence and draw connections between a child's age and their nature of error. Piaget thought the test was to rigid. He concluded that factual knowledge should not be with intelligence or understanding.

Research

There are four different stages of mental development. The first stage is sensorimotor stage, preoperation stage, eorcrete operational stage, and formal stage.

His research consisted of psychology and genetic epistemology, he had one goal which was to know how knowledge grows? The answer he got from his research was that the growth of knowledge is processed by logical embedded structures. Children's logic and mode are totally different from adults is what which he concluded from his research.

Jean called his theory "Piaget Genetic Epistemology". Epistemology means the orgin, nature, extent and limits of human knowledge. His work with Binet 's knowledge test led them to the conclusion that children think differently than adults do.

His inventions were just to watch the growth and development of the growth of children.
