next you draw a hammock shaped sort of half circle with a full circle in the middle of it with a smaller circle inside of that.
after that you draw a little circle-ish spot near the top right area to give it a bit of shine.
then draw a big circle in the middle of the paper about 3x3 inches tall and wide.

then you make a big light oval from the far side of the bottom left to the far side to the right.

finally you can color in the top half of the pokeball red but not the shine mark.
after all that you fill in the hammock shaped half-ish circle and the circle inside it black and leave the littlest circle white and keep the 3d lines with the little space inside of it white too.
