After a couple of years
Death
The birth for a Hippopotamus is very cute. Eight months after conception, at the height of the wet season, female hippos give birth to one calf at a time, either on land or underwater. Afterward, mothers leave the herd for a short period of time to bond with their calves underwater.
Now it's time for the hippo to pass away and leave this planet forever. They either died by nature or carnivore but we all know that the young hippo is ready to find a mate and bring hippo calves to life.
Growth
Now that the baby is born, the mother and father have to protect the baby hippo from carnivores, other hippos and of course, humans.
As the young hippo grows up, it has to learn how to survive among the herd. It needs to learn how to swim, run, attack enemies when it gets older and eat the right things like plants and insects.
