In room temperature calcium is a solid.

Calcium has 20 electrons, 20 protons and 20 neutrons

I chose Calcium as my element for this project.

The atomic number of Calcium is 20.

The chemical symbol for calcium is Ca.

My element's name is calcium.

The atomic mass of calcium is 40.078

Calcium is dull grey but shiny if scratched, Calcium is a relitively soft metal, calcium is highly reactive to acid and reactive to water and calcium can be compresed into thin sheets and shaped or bent.

Uses for Calcium:

-Used as a reducing agent when making other metals
