General Sherman of the Union led the Union to a major victory by burning the city to the ground along with the Confed's supplies during the civil war.

- The attack on pearl harbor was America's entrance into World War II,because Japan bombed Pearl harbor,which was a significant U.S. naval base in Hawaii.

- It is the biggest salt-water lake in the western hemisphere.
- It is also a very big tourist attraction.
