• Most employees have been in their positions for many years and this may lead to the absence of new opinions.
• Since the EPA is a government job, it has tons of hidden red tape. For example, EPA officials go above and beyond to hide their official communications. Former EPA Administrator, Lisa Jackson, created a fake email address to hide emails.
• Lax management within the EPA has defrauded taxpayers of nearly $1 million and created a culture of intimidation among employees.
• “Wind energy syndrome” has been blamed for health problems in people who live near wind farms, which the EPA thinks we need more of.
• Some of the new energy plans of the EPA have the potential to negatively affect the reliability of energy, workers for less eco-friendly energy sources, electric rates, and the standing of the US in the global marketplace.
