The Navajo's were to salvage the remains of enemy soldiers, which means they were to gather loot from their bodies. Such loot consisted of grenades, enemy plans, ammo, armor, weapons, and proper clothing.

I got this word from Fort Defiance, and I was curious to know why it was named that. Well defiance means open resistance; bold disobedience.

Therefor stood the name of Fort Defiance.

Reputation is how the world see's your value, therefore people praise you with items such as medals and trophies. Ned received the Medal of Honor in memory of his efforts in the war.

Malaria is an illness mostly carried by mosquitoes. The navajos had to take certain medications to resist the exposure of receiving malaria.
