The Animal Cell Amusement Park

( Its a cell of a time)

Introduction

Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime in this exciting animal cell! Here you will experience the wonders of the many different organelles through fun rides and attractions in a way like never before so come on in!

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum

Rough E.R.

The first ride you will see getting off the train is the smooth E.R. This ride is so amazing that it has four rides in one! The "lipidy quick" is where you get in a lipid bubble and ride down the slide until you hit the bottom where the bubble is popped or synthesized. The "soakin detoxifier" is a water ride where you get soaked to the point of soluble insanity! The "calcium calm pool" is simply a place where you can go and store up your energy and relax. And finally the speedy "metabolism of carbs"! Race your friends down this water ride by picking which carb you want to be and see who can get to the bottom first or be metabolized first!

After walking around for awhile you are probably pretty tired and the rough endoplasmic reticulum is the place for you! This bumpy railroad is one of our greatest attractions. As a payment for this attraction you can just give your balloon animal to the engineer! Each car is shaped like a certain package and you simply stay on until the "ride" protein is complete! The rough E.R. will then take you to all the rides and attractions this cell has to offer!

Nucleus

Golgi Apparatus

After you take a ride on that soaker you'll probably want to dry off, so next go to the golgi apparatus! Wanna dry off quick? Take our transport vesicles! this ride can get pretty messy so the next ride for you has got to be the golgi apparatus! Enter this tunnel ride on the cis end and when you come out the trans end you will be transformed to the cleanest most beautiful you have ever been. After this you will be "shipped out" to enjoy the rest of the park.

Ribosomes

Next lets take a journey to the information desk and control center, the nucleus! The people in here are the most knowledgeable of the park and how the park works. You could say they are the "brains" of the operation. In here there are mRNA or maintenance men who go out and repair rides and give the ride controllers instructions. These guys are pretty hard for the ride controllers to understand sometimes so thats where the ribosomes come in!

Lysosome

Pictures

After eating and digesting all that food at the delicious mitochondria you are probably going to need to use the restrooms or lysosome. Make sure not to overflow the toilet or it will destroy the whole park... If you really have to go, make your way to the Golgi Apparatus or Rough E.R. because this is where our central bathrooms are.

Vacuole

Now after all that walking and riding you will probably be quite hungry. so its time to visit the Mitochondria cafeteria. Just walking into this place you will see the cool atmosphere. It is a buffet style diner as you move the the curved lines called the cristae. For those who are in a rush eat in the mitochondria matrix to get energy super quick!

Peroxisome

Finally after you have done all the fun things possible its time to gather your things from your vacuole "locker" located close to the golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum and head home.

As you walk around the park you will begin to see some awesome characters or ribosomes walking around! They are almost everywhere, in fact the more people that are at the park the more characters you will see! Not only are these characters fun to look at but they make the best balloon animals or proteins around! If you cant seem to find them anywhere, go to they rough endoplasmic reticulum! Our characters seem to love it there!

As you are walking you will come across our magnificent magic show preformed by the one and only Peroxisome! He takes hydrogen peroxide and changes it into hydrogen and oxygen before your eyes! Be a volunteer and I'm sure he will give you a meal ticket "fatty acid", for energy to eat at the mitochondria!

First on your trip through this cellular wonderland you are going to need to enter the gates or cell membrane. Come dressed as a oxygen molecule and get in the gates super quick! Come dressed as a sugar and you'll have to wait for a special active transport! These gates hold all of our rides and attractions!
