The Waverly Hills Sanatorium is a closed sanatorium located in southwestern Louisville. It is known as one of the most haunted locations in America. It opened in 1910 and was a two-story hospital to help tuberculosis patients, and closed in 1910 due to antibiotics treatment which cleared out most of the disease.
