For pilates, there are only 5 absolutely essential things for this exercise. An exercise ball, comfortable clothes & shoes, an exercise mat and a music player. But, of course, there are far more things to use for pilates. You can use a pilates machine, which is rarely used but used for advanced exercises. You can also use a pilates ring, intended to develop your muscle rather than just focusing on flexibility. A pilates bolster, to support the spine while more complicated movements are performed, and for sure, there are many more.

In my opinion, if I haven't already, I would definitely try Pilates. I think that I need to workout more and Pilates seem like a fun way to achieve a fair fitness.

Yes, there are the disadvantages of Pilates being expensive and the over development of your internal and external muscles of your abdomen, but if you look past that, I think that I'd be a great work out to participate in.

Having an instructor or following instructions could be very costly. Also renting equipment costs a lot too.
