The What?

It is said the Death Worm laid its eggs in the intestines of a camel, thus acquiring its blood red color. Scientists, researchers, and adventurers alike have been baffled by this mystery; the legend of the Gobi desert, the Mongolian Death Worm.

Insight from Locals

Researchers and scientists alike have come up empty handed to prove the existence of the worm, but locals who have grown up with the legend have enough knowledge to give researchers a description. Ivan Mackerel wrote that the worm is blood red with no noticeable head or tail and is about two to five feet long. Today, scientist and researchers are still trying to find the Death Worm. It could be tomorrow, or it could be in a century.

The Mongolian Death Worm is rumored to be located in the Gobi Desert in the country of Mongolia. Legend says it has spike like protections at both ends and has no noticeable head or tail. This two to five foot worm can spit venom so acidic, it can corrode metal. In self defense, it can also shoot electric sparks from feet away, or even explode.

Scientists Speak

Scientist think that this worm is not real or entirely different. They have come up with alternatives for the worm. Some cryptozologists, (scientists who study myths and legends for a living) believe that this worm could be a form of a snake like a death adder or a worm snake. Even an australian worm could be a likely alternative because these gigantic worms can grow up to ten feet.
