Snow shoe Hares

By Andrew Walter

Snowshoe Hares are a breed of rabbit, found in the brown areas on the map. The live in many mountain ranges such as: The Rocky Mountains and The Appalachian Mountains. They stay in North America, and live in mainly in snowy areas/forests. They're endangered and are having more and more trouble surviving on our own.

Thanks for watching

The Snowshoe Hare is a peaceful animal that normally eat plants or berries. They hide in the snow and are eaten by Lynxes, and foxes. They like to live in groups with family.

The bunnies are disappearing because they've been eaten and hunted too much. Also, global warming is heating their snow and now it's hard for them to hide from predators.

With your help, we can help save the Snowshoe Hares. You can save them by recycling, donating, learning about them, or by joining a local organization set up to help endangered animals.

You should save these cute bunnies because there's no reason they should be endangered. It's not fair that they are being hunted. If you were a bunny, wouldn't you want to be helped? I want you to help because you should treat other the way you want to be treated.

From 1927 the bunny's population has been decreasing. It keeps getting smaller and smaller every year. That's why they need our help.
