• Thomas McKean, George Read, and James Smith, all signers of the Declaration of Independence, attended New London Academy, the early form of the Avon Grove Schools.
• The oldest school is the high school, which opened in 1957, and the newest school, AGIS, opened in 2003.

Reflection

Although I love this school and the district as a whole, I would not want to work there. I wouldnt want to work in the same place I grew up and the area is overall to rural for me.
