With the volunteer hours I have gotten these past 3 years of high school, I will be able to earn a partial (if not full) Bright Futures scholarship due to my SAT and ACT scores as well. I can't rely on that alone, though, and I plan on using financial aid throughout my four years but working in the summer to decrease the amount of the loans.

The Business Administration program at IRSC in particular does not require any previous certifications before joining the program, but it does require a Highschool diploma. I plan on continuing to my Master's degree in International Business, and for my post-graduate schooling I would need to take a proficiency test (GRE or GMAT) and have the proper GPA and prerequisite classes to join.
Typical courses of an International Business or Finance major may include, but are not limited to:
The required/preferred degree for this career is (at least) a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. Higher education is preferred to earn higher-paying jobs. Certain certifications may be required such as becoming a public accountant, and extra training may include leadership or management training.
My personal interests include activities such as keeping busy through my choir and through schoolwork, but I enjoy accomplishing small tasks as they give me a feeling of stability and comfort in that. Making sure I am both mentally and physically healthy is very important to me, as I often overlook them. My values are true in treating people fairly and nonjudgmentally, seeking justice for all humans and promoting tolerance. My needs include a happy home life, as I am very connected to my family, and a stable looking future.

The drawbacks include finding a very well-paying job and often (for some) being away from home for short to long periods of time. Also a language barrier would be an issue if someone was not bilingual or didn't understand the cultures they would be surrounded with.
With this project I learned an abundant amount of new information about International Business. I didn't take into much consideration the types of companies I would be working with or the time away from home I would spend. Also, the laws and taxes within the countries regulations must be closely observed and I learned that there is no room for error in this profession.
This career would be one of the best choices for me as I love traveling, immersing myself in different cultures, and I am fluent in four different languages. Data fascinate me and I am a creative and critical thinker, making conclusions and deciphering statistics, finance, and data interest me greatly. I would be happy traveling and working with large, international corporations as I have witness much of my family do the same.
I will need an SAT and ACT tutor in order to score better on my tests, or revise more often in a study group.
To improve my grades for this upcoming semester and year I could work with a tutor as well or with the teachers of my classes. For my career, creating connections within my work field and networking throughout my schooling would be beneficial.
My short term goals include scoring higher on my SAT and ACT tests that are coming up soon. Getting good grades this semester in both college classes and high school classes will be very important as well.
My long term goals are to be accepted to a University of my choice with a scholarship. I also would like to earn good grades in my first year of university so I can join the honors program. Eventually joining an international business company would be extremely beneficial.
It would be a good idea to join the Spanish Club at IRSC, as I am going into International Business I will need to practice immersing myself in the language and speaking fluently in casual conversation with others. The Honors Program would be beneficial to me as well, as it would acclimate me to having a busy schedule and learning time management skills. Involving yourself in an honors program would show prospective employers that I have initiative.
